Plan of action of the A.R.CA.D Foundation

• Promote and support clinical research and improve patient care by
  financing action programs and multicenter research projects
  
  
• Elicit discussions between medical specialists (oncologists, surgeons, X-ray therapists) so that consulting patients can be offered better information and a wider array of therapeutic options
  
  
• Conduct in full independence informational campaigns for the general public and for the cancer patient population
  
  
• Initiate the coordination of action programs associating public and private partners active in the area of digestive cancer research
  
  
• Support large scale screening for digestive cancers and make the general public and the medical profession sensitive to the importance of prevention in reducing the impact of these diseases.
